Fiona Robinson

Fiona Robinson

Milton Keynes Council

Building on a fifteen-year career in strategic spatial planning, Fiona now leads the delivery of the MK Futures 2050 programme, a portfolio of six transformational, city-building projects for Milton Keynes, as it grows to a population of half a million by 2050, just 80 years after the first plans for the new city were prepared.  Fiona plays a key role in the creation of MK:U, a new undergraduate technology university in the city centre, working with partners at Cranfield University.  She also leads on the development of a new strategic framework for the long term growth of the city that will build on the unique place-making principles that have helped Milton Keynes live up to its “different by design” mantra.
